Sun‑lit salmon interference settles like warm sand at the base of the piece. Crisp black lines evoke water’s presence — where sand meets the first movement of the tide. Above it, a clear band holds the shallows, bright and transparent before they deepen. The upper field shifts into a soft red shimmer, catching the first colour of the sky as sunrise begins.

A quiet coastal morning, distilled into a single vertical stratum.
